Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore! 🌻
However, we were there last week to join the Kansas Future Caucus for their first meeting of the year!

Their legislative session just began, and they are already off to a busy start. The Kansas Future Caucus hosted a lunch to convene with fellow leaders and to connect with one another outside of the House and Senate chambers.

Led by Co-Chairs Representative Rui Xu (D-KS), Representative Nick Hoheisel, Representative Brandon Woodard (D-KS), and Senator Tory Blew (R-KS), our 2024 Rising Star Awardee, the caucus had a productive meeting to plan goals for the year ahead.
This session, Rep. Woodard is serving as House Minority Leader, and Sen. Blew has transitioned from the House to the Senate.

The Kansas Future Caucus wrapped up their day with a reception for caucus members at a Topeka local restaurant, Iron Rail Brewing.
It's inspiring to get to see our lawmakers at work in their state legislatures – we look forward to the year ahead with the Kansas Future Caucus!
