Secretary Hegseth’s answers to my questions indicated the judgement and bold leadership he’ll need to bring needed reform and renewed strength to our military’s readiness and efficiency.
I’m particularly concerned about our need to counter increased Russian and Chinese nuclear threats and Secretary Hegseth assured me that these measures have his support.
That’s why he continues to have mine, despite the Democrats’ best effort to distract the American people with identity politics and personal attacks.
I was proud to support his confirmation and look forward to the strength he will bring to his post.
