We’re proud to name Lauren Boebert as our latest nominee. 🙄
Boebert is a Trump loyalist who was endorsed by him and has proven herself to be the antithesis of everything we value.
She’s co-chair of the Congressional Second Amendment Caucus (aka a pro-gun group formed by far-right congress members during the first Trump admin that works to reverse gun safety legislation). On top of that, she recently co-sponsored a bill to abolish the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF). 🤨She claims their existence is a violation of the second amendment.
We’re not so sure about that, but okay…
Lauren Boebert exists to help push a Trump agenda that is anti-ethical, anti-democratic, anti-everything-that’s-good-in-this-world. Not to be dramatic 😬
On that note, we’re focusing on the important stuff, like keeping our communities safe from gun violence. This starts with protecting federal agencies like the ATF, and continues with pushing our elected officials to pass meaningful legislation.
