Restaurant workers picketed outside Raskia Penn Quarter on Thursday over the restaurant's inhumane, exploitative, or unlawful workplace practices, retaliation against workers, and aggressive union-busting campaign. Send a letter to Rasika telling them to stop their union-busting.
That same day workers with STARR Restaurants and Knightsbridge Restaurant Group met with members of the U.S. House Labor Caucus. "It was great meeting with DC restaurant workers who organized with UNITE HERE Local 25 to form unions!" said Rep. Steven Horsford. "These workers are the backbone of our communities, and I’ll always fight to protect their rights. Unions strengthen our labor force!"

Workers have been organizing with IAM since October. In November, Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton sent a letter to Casey Trees admin supporting the workers.
