Friend,

One of Donald Trump’s very first acts after being inaugurated as President of the United States was to give a full pardon to roughly 1,500 convicted felons who were involved in the violent, destructive, and deadly January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Trump’s unprecedented pardon for violent felons and domestic terrorists explicitly encourages even more political violence. It is a direct attack on the rule of law and our right to live in a peaceful society free from the threat of violence. And it is yet another step toward realizing Trump’s authoritarian vision for America.

But we can do something about it. We can fight back right now. This special election will be a golden opportunity—right during Trump’s first 100 days—to rally the nation against Trump’s unpopular and un-American abuses of power.

In April, Josh Weil will be going up against Donald Trump’s handpicked crony, Randy Fine, in an election that could tip the balance of power in Congress. Can you contribute $5, $25, or more -- split with South Carolina House Dems -- to fight back and stop Trump’s attack on our democracy?

DONATE

Gratefully,
Josh Weil for Congress
