Trump’s first week back in the Oval Office is coming to a close — and he’s already been busy enacting his extreme agenda and repealing vital protections. Here are just a few of the actions Trump has taken in the first week of his second presidency: * He declared a national emergency to expand border walls, detain asylum seekers, launch major ICE raids in schools and hospitals, and send military service members to the border.
* He signed an Executive Order to end birthright citizenship — a blatant violation of our Constitution.
* He withdrew the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement and the World Health Organization, endangering our planet and our communities.
* He imposed a federal hiring freeze and demanded that government agencies end diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility policies.
* He pardoned 1,500 January 6th rioters, including those who violently assaulted Capitol Police.
* He revoked the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1965, meaning employers can now discriminate against women and people of color when hiring.

This is just the beginning. The stakes couldn’t be higher. But the good thing is, we have each other. Together, we can fight back — but only if we have the resources to organize, mobilize, and hold the line.
