Ask your representative to restore clean water protections.TAKE ACTION

[[link removed]]John,
Unless we act, our nation’s amphibians could soon see their wetland habitat
polluted and destroyed.
The Trump Administration’s decision to remove safeguards for more than half of
our nation's wetlands and millions of stream miles was a reckless decision for
America’s wildlife, communities, and drinking water supply—but with your help we
can restore these protections.
Please ask your member of Congress to co-sponsor the Clean Water for All Act
today.

Protecting clean water is a key part of recovering our most vulnerable
populations of amphibians. Salamanders are highly sensitive to water pollution because their permeable
skin makes it easier for toxins to enter their bloodstream.
Some salamanders return annually to the same waters and vernal ponds that they
were born in to reproduce. Without protections for small streams and wetlands,
our threatened and endangered species of salamanders could be swiftly pushed to
the brink of extinction.
SAVE SALAMANDERS

The Clean Water for All Act would block the Trump Administration’s decision to
dramatically reduce the scope of the landmark Clean Water Act’s protections. By
protecting headwaters and ephemeral, seasonal, and small streams we can ensure
pollution does now flow downstream into our larger rivers, lakes, and bays
Wetlands serve as critical habitat for many types of salamanders, and also clean
our drinking water and absorb floodwaters. Allowing more wetlands to be drained
and destroyed means more pollution and flooding downstream—and less habitat for
salamander and other cherished wildlife.
Don’t let salamanders disappear: Urge your member of Congress to support the Clean Water for All Act today.

Thank you for all you do to protect vulnerable wildlife and their homes.
Sincerely,
