John,
I wanted to take a moment to share a few updates with you and reflect on the significance of Inauguration Day.
Today is a sacred day in America as we come together to celebrate a peaceful transfer of power from one administration to the next. As Americans we should unite around this ongoing American experiment and hope for our shared success.
Also today, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and we are reminded that the power to create change lies within each of us. Dr. King knew that waiting on politicians to act was not enough - real change had to start in our homes, schools, churches, and communities. He brought people together, across racial and economic divides, to drive progress from the ground up.
In today’s divided times, we must follow his example and take action where we live. Instead of waiting for Washington, let’s honor Dr. King’s legacy by stepping up and working together in our communities to make a difference. The solution is us.
I’m grateful for your continued support as we work toward that goal.
