Team – Today, we give our solemn thanks to all who serve our nation in uniform – and especially remember those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. We all have beloved Memorial Day traditions – parades, barbeques, and gatherings with loved ones. Those celebrations will look a little different this year, but we can all remember to take a few moments to pause and reflect on who this day is really about. On days like today, we step back and remember what binds us together as one nation. Despite our many differences, we all hold in our hearts a desire for freedom and democracy. And we can all honor the fallen men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country and the values we stand for as Americans. We must uphold our promise to those who courageously served our country and ensure that those who return home receive the care and support they deserve. We also owe it to our neighbors to support our Gold Star families who have sacrificed so much already. To all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, their family, and their loved ones, our entire country thanks you. -- David
