The Austrian Economics Research Conference is the international, interdisciplinary meeting of the Austrian School, bringing together leading scholars doing research in this vibrant and influential intellectual tradition. The conference is hosted by the Mises Institute at its campus in Auburn, Alabama, and is directed by Joseph Salerno, academic vice president of the Mises Institute and professor emeritus of economics at Pace University.

The conference begins on Thursday, March 20, at the Auburn University Hotel with an informal welcome reception from 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. central time. Sessions begin Friday and continue throughout the day and all day Saturday.
Only registered attendees are permitted at the conference. No children under 16 years old are allowed.

We have a room block at the Auburn University Hotel ([link removed]) for Thursday–Saturday nights. Call 334-821-8200 or use this link ([link removed]) before February 17 to secure this rate. Be sure to mention the Mises Institute’s Austrian Economics Research Conference for the special rate of $175 plus tax (for single or double room). Parking is available at AU Hotel for guests at a rate of $10 per night for self-parking, $15 per night for valet parking.
For other accommodations, we recommend Auburn Gameday Center ([link removed]) (334-826-8870) around the corner from the Mises Institute, and be sure to mention you are with the Institute. If you are driving, there are other hotels ([link removed]) in the Auburn area that are beyond walking distance of the Mises Institute.
For Faculty and Presenters, the early discounted registration fee is $335 ($350 after March 1). The registration fee for Observers not presenting a paper is $395 per person.
The Mises Institute will host a one-day Libertarian Scholars Conference ([link removed]) on March 20, 2025, beginning at 1:00 p.m. The registration fee is $99 per person. This event is held prior to the beginning of AERC
