Thank you for staying engaged with BYD during these unprecedented times. We are inspired by your commitment to your communities and to the borough. It seems almost crass to derive "lessons" from the pandemic while it is still raging, but one is surely that we must elect leaders we trust and hold them accountable when necessary.
BYD seeks to empower and amplify the voices of young people in the political process. We often do this through electing Democrats in the general election, but we are also committed to making sure your voices are heard in Democratic primaries.
This Tuesday, BYD will be holding its first ever virtual General Body Meeting ([link removed]) on Tuesday May 26th. We will be endorsing candidates in the following primary races: NY-9, AD-43, SD-20, and Male District Leader in AD-53. All candidates present will have an opportunity to address members and take questions.

Please note the endorsement meeting is now set to begin at 7:30 PM on Zoom ([link removed]) .
In order to vote in the endorsement ballot, you must be up to date on dues. To pay your dues, click here ([link removed]) .
Shortly after the meeting, all dues-paying members will receive a link to an online ballot. The ballot will be open for 48 hours.
