Dear John,

If you haven’t taken action to protect transgender student athletes, now is your chance.

This week, Congress is expected to vote on H.R. 28/S. 9, a bill that seeks to impose a national ban on transgender students playing on sports teams that are consistent with their gender identity.

In order to help block this bill, we need you to fill out our Action Form now to send a message to Congress: Vote no on H.R. 28/S. 9 and continue to protect transgender, nonbinary, and intersex students. It will only take just a few minutes.

FILL OUT THE ACTION FORM: [link removed]

In the face of a Donald Trump presidency, we can expect Congress to face many more anti-LGBTQ+ bills. Standing up and letting our representatives know that these hateful bills have no place in our nation’s legislation is more essential than ever.

Our students deserve policies that actually address issues in our schools. GLSEN works to move forward policies that promote inclusive curriculum, safer, more affirming schools, and resources like student-led clubs.

H.R. 28/S. 9 and bills like it have no place in our schools and do nothing to address the actual safety concerns students face.

TELL CONGRESS TO VOTE NO ON H.R. 28/S. 9: [link removed]
