It’s completely understandable to feel some pessimism following the disappointing results of last month’s election. Our organization is gearing up to be part of a broad coalition of Democratic organizations that push back against the new administration — but as we reflect on a tough election cycle, it’s also important to take stock of what went well. 

Here in New Mexico, we re-elected our entire Democratic congressional delegation, strong majorities in the Legislature, and amazing progressive local leaders throughout our state. At Emerge New Mexico, we’re incredibly proud of our work to help secure these wins: over forty of our endorsed candidates won their races, and New Mexico secured the second largest female legislative majority in the nation.

This work would not have been possible without the sustained support of grassroots donors like you. With our end-of-year deadline looming, we need to raise another $3,214 to unlock a donor match -- doubling the impact of your gifts! Can we count on you to pitch in?

We’re moving on from an election year that has shown us the importance of long-term, on-the-ground political organizing.
