and build an America where basic rights and freedoms are upheld for all,

It was a creative display of advocacy that demanded attention from
senators. This coalition effort led by People For included our partners
from Progressive Change Institute, NAACP Legal Defense Fund, National
Women’s Law Center, Alliance For Justice, Indivisible, and Stand Up

Donald Trump’s former chief strategist Steve Bannon spoke to a coalition

of prison because of his refusal to comply with a subpoena from the
