2025 Planning Memo

Fighting Back Against Anti-Abortion Cabinet Nominations
Donald Trump has wasted no time nominating extremists to cabinet positions to carry out the blueprint laid out in Project 2025. This includes:
* Naming Martin Makary , a known anti-abortion extremist and Fox News contributor, as Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). * The FDA can control the availability and affordability of birth control, and Project 2025 lays out a plan for the FDA to revoke approval of medications like mifepristone that are used in abortion care and miscarriage management.
* Nominating Robert F. Kennedy Jr. , who has previously supported a national ban on abortion, to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). * Project 2025 calls for HHS to track and monitor pregnant people, including if they have an abortion—creating a surveillance state for pregnant people.
* Nominating Pam Bondi to be Attorney General. Bondi defended Florida's abortion ban as the state's attorney general and would be responsible for enforcing federal laws as head of the Department of Justice—including ones regarding the shipment of abortion medication and equipment.
We're laying the groundwork now to mount a full-fledged offense against these cabinet nominations who will be key in making Project 2025 a reality. We need your support to make sure we can hold every single senator accountable for how they vote on these nominations. [[link removed]]
Holding Our Elected Officials Accountable
Republicans up and down the ticket lied to voters and pretended to be moderate on abortion in order to win. Now that they're in office, we know that they will try to ban abortion nationally and chip away at our reproductive freedoms one by one.
We're not going to let that happen . We're going to flood their offices with letters, phone calls, and emails letting them know their constituents are the 8 in 10 Americans who support the right to abortion. And if they vote to take away our rights, we'll make sure they lose their seats.
