2024 may be drawing to a close but at Children’s Advocates for Change we are hard at work preparing for 2025.

The state of Illinois is facing an upcoming budget deficit of more than $3 billion, according to the Governor’s own budget office. Changes on the federal level in 2025 could result in budget cuts for housing, food assistance, and medical care.
