John, I want to make sure you saw Harmeet's e-mail.  If not, please scroll down to read it right now.

This nomination is a huge deal. Not just for Harmeet, but for the Center for American Liberty -- and our movement -- as a whole.

I am so proud of my friend and I am excited for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity before her.

But I am also proud of the work we've accomplished together -- you, me, Harmeet, and our entire team.

After all, you've played a vital role in the Center for American Liberty's successes propelling Harmeet to the forefront of some of the biggest legal battles of our time.

America is lucky to have one of its fiercest champions for freedom, Harmeet Dhillon, nominated to lead the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ.

John, will you join me in congratulating Harmeet with a heartfelt message today?

My goal is to collect 1,000 messages from our best supporters to share with Harmeet by Christmas.

Can I count on yours to be one of them?

Harmeet has poured her heart and soul into defending freedom for all Americans. No one deserves this nomination more than she does. Thank you in advance for your words of encouragement!

Sincerely,

Mark Trammell

Executive Director & General Counsel

Subject: Opportunity of a lifetime

Center for American Liberty

John,

It is with great excitement that I share President Trump has nominated me to serve as Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Justice.

I am extremely honored that President Trump selected me for this important position and I am eager to roll up my sleeves and get to work. It has been my dream to serve our great country, and I am so excited to be a part of an incredible team of lawyers led by the next Attorney General, Pam Bondi.

This is the opportunity of a lifetime, yet it was not an easy decision to step away from the Center for American Liberty for a period of national service.

For the last five years, you have helped me fight for the constitutional freedoms of all Americans on some of the biggest issues of our time through the Center for American Liberty.

With your support:

  • We beat Gavin Newsom's unconstitutional COVID lockdowns three times at the United States Supreme Court.
  • We held Antifa members financially accountable for brutally assaulting journalist Andy Ngo.
  • We're suing doctors and gender clinics for performing sex-change operations on vulnerable young girls without informed consent.

And the Center for American Liberty is really just getting started!

My Senate confirmation hearing is not expected until the Spring, so I am excited to continue leading this organization until then.

But today, I have one more piece of news to share with you.

I'm pleased to share with you that earlier this week, our Board of Directors met and voted to elevate Mark Trammell to Chief Executive Officer, effective upon my Senate confirmation.

Mark has been my partner serving as Executive Director at the Center for American Liberty since 2019. I know Mark really well and I assure you that he has no intention of slowing down -- that isn't part of his DNA.

Under his leadership, you can expect the Center for American Liberty to double down and expand its work defending the freedoms that you and I hold dear.

John, I am forever grateful for your support. Your kind words of congratulations and best wishes the last few days mean the world to me.  And I assure you, this is not goodbye.  I will be back when my period of service to our country has concluded, and I can't wait to continue this work with your support.

In my absence, I pray you will support Mark and our team the same way you have me.

Merry Christmas,

Harmeet K. Dhillon
