Last August, Sen. Susan Collins cast the deciding vote to confirm Brett
Kavanaugh.

Now she's getting the pay off.

Last week, Sen. Collins was caught sneaking into a fundraiser at the $4
million mansion of anti-choice D.C. power broker Leonard Leo. While for
decades, Susan Collins has been reelected by claiming to support Roe v.
Wade, when women needed her most, she took big checks from anti-choice
extremists in exchange for her 'yes' vote on Brett Kavanaugh.

We're not going to let her get away with it.

Leo has long been at the center of a web of dark-money groups that have
guided the selection and confirmation of anti-choice, conservative Supreme
Court justices — from John G. Roberts Jr., Samuel A. Alito Jr., and
Clarence Thomas to Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.^1,2 He even handed
Donald Trump a list of federal judges whose confirmations the Federalist
Society pledged to throw their weight (and money) behind.^3,4

It's this dark money and influence that Susan Collins is beholden to, not
the people of Maine. That's why her approval ratings tumbled 17% after the
Kavanaugh vote, and are now lower even than Trump's.^5

But it's going to require a major investment to defeat her. We'll need to
hire more organizing staff in Maine, rent campaign offices, and fund an
advertising budget to reach the voters we need to turn out to win in 2020.

Susan Collins went along with Mitch McConnell when he changed the rules of
the Senate to ram through the Gorsuch confirmation. She's voted for more
than 30 of Trump's anti-choice federal judges. She cast the deciding vote
for Kavanaugh. For all her talk of independence, she's become just another
partisan hack whose vote is up for sale.

Her time in office is up, but we need your help to replace her with a real
pro-choice champion — Sara Gideon — to represent the people of Maine who
support reproductive freedom.
