This Preservation Month, the National Trust has been sharing daily experiences
as part of Virtual Preservation Month
[[link removed]] . We're excited to share that American Express is sponsoring this effort,
enabling Americans to celebrate the month by stepping out while staying in.

Today, you can join the Lower East Side Tenement Museum, a National Trust
Historic Site, for a neighborhood journey through the history of pickles. Learn
how people pickled their veggies 100 years ago, why the tradition of pickling
was important for many Eastern European immigrants, and how kids got a good deal
on their pickle purchases. This pre-recorded event ends with a short demo of how
to make your own cucumber pickles at home!

and that it inspires you to support the National Trust at this challenging time.
More than ever in our history, we need people who care about preservation most
to contribute. Please be one of them.

$2. And we’ll send you a special link to download gorgeous screensavers and
online meeting backgrounds. Thank you so much for sustaining the National
Trust’s important work.
