There’s still time to register [[link removed]] for tomorrow’s webinar all about Medicaid, how we stopped cuts in 2017, and how we can do it again! Medicaid is an important part of the United States health care system, but a lot of the information about it is hard to understand. That’s why it’s important to share resources like this webinar and hear from experts about what the program does and what kind of threats we should be prepared for, including people who helped to stop cuts to Medicaid during the last Trump administration.
Join ASAN staff for a presentation on what Medicaid is, how it helps people with disabilities, how it’s paid for, and more. Then we’ll have a panel and Q&A with Elena Hung, Matthew Cortland, Noor Pervez, Sabrina Epstein, and Carly Putnam.
This webinar is open to everyone, but we especially want to invite self-advocates and allies to attend! The webinar will last around 90 minutes. The webinar will be on Zoom and will have CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) and ASL interpreters. The webinar will also be shared on Youtube after. Make sure to register, and we’ll see you tomorrow, December 17 at 4:00-5:30pm ET for “What is Medicaid and how can we save it — again?” [[link removed]].
Together, we can keep Medicaid safe — again!
