Your support in action: GLAAD secures national platforms for transgender voices

Recently, Peppermint, a transgender actress, activist, and member of GLAAD’s Board of Directors, joined Shane Diamond, a transgender advocacy consultant for GLAAD, on CNN’s NewsNight with Abby Phillip to talk about U.S. v Skrmetti. The case challenges Tennessee’s ban on essential health care for transgender youth. GLAAD Media Institute (GMI) alum Rep. Leigh Finke was also invited by CNN for breaking news coverage for the case while another GMI alum, Lizette Trujillo, and her son appeared on a panel of transgender youth and their parents.
