In 2024, VoteRiders provided almost 25,000 voters with one-on-one free help. One of them was Seiyanna Terrell, a 21-year-old in Nebraska who wanted to vote for the first time in the 2024 presidential election. As of April 1, 2024, Nebraska had a voter ID law in effect. The new law requires voters to show a photo ID to vote unless they meet one of three exceptions. Seiyanna’s Nebraska driver’s license was expired, and she couldn’t afford to renew it, which would keep her from casting her ballot. |
