While it is true that the Bill insists that the right to die will only apply to terminally ill patients with a maximum of six months to live and that coercion will be mitigated by the need to have two doctors and a judge sign off on a clearly expressed desire to die, there are still very real concerns."

Canada Reveals "Safeguards" Are Not Safe At All

"Recent reports from the Ontario Coroner’s MAiD Death Review Committee reveal compliance problems such as failure to apply the 90-day waiting period and not ensuring the patient was assessed by a doctor with expertise in their condition. In at least one case, committee members believed the patient suffered solely from mental illness and thus should not have been deemed eligible for [assisted suicide].
