We are clear on the aspiration of equity: a nation where all people can participate, prosper, and reach their full potential
But while these are the seeds of the world we want to create, we do not yet have the soil to plant them in. Nurturing that fertile ground — transforming the social fabric and governing of this nation — is the generational work that is ours for the taking.
Our CEO Michael McAfee reminded us that this is both nation-building work and soul work. At our Equity Summit he urged everyone to sit with a hard question: Do I have a soul that can manifest the capacity to love everyone, see their humanity, and work in service of their thriving?

“As a Muslim, I believe in God, but I've never seen God,” Sarsour said. “I believe in this idea of ‘all,’ but I haven't seen it. And so I have to believe in it, in order for it to be manifested.”
