Dear John,

Did Americans suddenly change their minds about the right to life after the fall of Roe v. Wade?

You might wonder, given the number of extremist abortion laws that have been passed into state laws and constitutions in the past 2 years.

What does the pro-life movement need to do to win?

I just put a letter in the mail to you in which I tackle this question, John. I hope you give it your careful consideration.

Untold thousands of lives depend on you and me. Pro-life advocates must respond swiftly and effectively to counter threats from of the culture of death.

Here’s a preview of what I think are the reasons for recent pro-life setbacks:

  • Abortion advocates have been unified in messaging.
  • They’ve been laser-focused on strategic wins.
  • And they’ve been extremely well-funded.

That lethal combination has produced lethal results, as you’ll see when you read my letter.  Did you know that “Big Abortion”—the abortion industry and all its donors—outspends the pro-life movement by $35 to $1?

But there is hope! Just recently, we defeated three bad abortion amendments in Florida, South Dakota and Nebraska.  Our commitment to life is making a difference and now more than ever we MUST speak up! With November’s presidential results, there is renewed hope that our cause can make incredible advances across our nation.

John, this is not a fight we can allow our country to lose.

Will you renew your commitment to building a culture of life
with Americans United for Life?

Today the path to pro-life victories in a divided America lies in those three factors that I just mentioned.

  1. Unified messaging,
  2. Coordinated, strategic wins, and
  3. The funding necessary to prevail in statehouses and in the court of public opinion.

That’s why your support of Americans United for Life is crucially important.

AUL is executing a plan for the year ahead to secure strategic alignment and messaging across the pro-life movement, from the grassroots level on up.

You can see it taking shape in our Equal Protection Summit — more on that in the letter you’re about to receive — and in our newly-launched Pregnancy Resource Center Advocacy Hub.

John, our country DOES have a pro-life future.

But it requires us to work together to ensure that all humans are welcomed throughout life and protected by law.

Keep an eye out for my letter, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,

John Mize
