The COVID-19 health crisis has greatly impacted the ways we live, work and learn. While the health crisis has closed schools, offices and communal gatherings, people are turning to online spaces now more than ever to connect with others--especially students and young adults. As COVID-19 spreads through our communities, false news stories, conspiracy theories and inflammatory rhetoric spread online. With this increased reliance on digital spaces to educate and inform our communities, it is critical to learn how to identify false information and misleading stories so we can call out hate and bias when we see it, and not fall victim to conspiracy theories.

ADL D.C. invites you to participate in a webinar on Wednesday, May 20th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. ET to learn more about how we get our news, strategies to spot bias in online media and teach students to improve their own media literacy.
