As you know, public safety is my number one priority. That includes stopping the distribution of dangerous illicit drugs in Maricopa County.

I am proud to report that under my leadership and due to the incredible work of our dedicated deputies, MCSO has seized nearly $50 million of illicit drugs. This includes over 1,600 pounds of methamphetamine and over 200,000 fentanyl pills, as well as large amounts of heroin, cocaine, and PCP.

These dangerous drugs have ravaged communities across our nation, put our families and children at risk, and taken too many lives too soon.

I remain committed to stopping the distribution of illicit drugs here in Maricopa County, and I will continue to make the safety of our children, our families, and our communities my office’s top priority.
