As we gather with family and friends today, we're reminded of how important shared meals are to the celebration of this holiday, and to so many family traditions.

Yet today, 47 million Americans live in food insecure homes, unable adequately feed themselves and their families.

So as we celebrate today, let us also remember those who struggle against hunger every day, and recommit ourselves to creating a hunger free America.
