Trudeau announces two-month partial GST holiday, $250 cheques for many Canadians

More money in your pockets this holiday season

Our Liberal team is providing real relief at the register this holiday season.

We’re removing the GST/HST for two months on essentials like groceries, snacks, and kids clothing.

We’re also putting $250 back into the pockets of 18.7 million working Canadians by delivering the Working Canadians Rebate to Canadians who earned under $150,000 last year.
