Dear Ward 8 Residents,

The DC Board of Elections is encouraging residents to request a mail-in ballot so that residents can vote at home during the 2020 election cycle. During this pandemic, Ward 8 has three voting centers:
* Anacostia High School
* Malcolm X Opportunity Center
* Barry Farm Recreation Center

Vote Centers will be open for the Primary Election from May 22 through June 2, except on May 25 for Memorial Day. On Election Day, they’re open 7 a.m. – 8 p.m., and for all other early voting days from 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Residents interested in voting with a mail-in ballot can request an application at https:// dcboe.org ([link removed]) or utilize a polling center between May 22-June 2nd. Be safe during this public health emergency and vote safe.

Regards,

Trayon White, Sr.
