Good morning John,

My name is Katherine Swarthout. I’m Phil’s Finance Director.

You haven’t heard from me yet, but I wanted to share just a bit about who I am, why I care so much about electing Phil, and why I’m asking for $3 to make sure we can meet our fundraising goal tonight. >> [link removed]

I grew up right here in Tumwater, WA, and I’m proud to call Washington state my home. I’ve worked for a handful of campaigns across the country over the past few years, but I must say, Phil’s is special.

Phil has an incredible record of serving our community under Denny Heck. He’s also the most knowledgeable person about policy I’ve ever worked for. You don’t find both of those qualities in one candidate too often.

Unfortunately, as Phil’s Finance Director, I have to level with you. Tonight the field of candidates in our race will officially be set and the campaign will be underway. We set a goal of raising $10,000 before midnight to start with strength, but we’re still $2,563 short.

Can you help us start strong with a contribution of $3 today? >> [link removed]

Phil cares deeply about the issues affecting all of us. He’s got ideas for how our country can respond to the current COVID-19 crisis -- he’s also thinking proactively about how to deal with issues including climate change.

I believe Phil when he says we’re in democracy’s “use-it-or-lose-it moment.”

We have no option but to use it, and we need your help to meet our goal to elect Phil.

Thank you so much,

Katherine Swarthout

Paid for by Phil Gardner for Congress

Phil Gardner served as the District Director for Congressman Rep. Denny Heck in Washington's 10th District. Now, he's running to replace Denny in order to continue fighting for the people of the South Sound and our shared progressive values. If elected, Phil would make history as Washington state’s first openly LGBT Member of Congress.

To support Phil's campaign, donate here. We'd hate to see you go, but if you can unsubscribe: [link removed] here.
