Biden: "I wouldn't vote for me if I believed Tara Reade."

"Joe Biden on Thursday again addressed allegations of sexual assault from former staffer Tara Reade, saying that voters should not choose him in the November elections if they believe Reade’s claims. Voters 'should vote their heart and if they believe Tara Reade, they probably shouldn’t vote for me,' Biden said on MSNBC’s The Last Word. 'I wouldn’t vote for me if I believed Tara Reade.'" [Read the full story from National Review.]

Tara Reade's sexual assault allegations against Joe Biden -- which he has totally denied -- have made every Democrat who endorses Biden a hypocrite, as the party previously replaced due process and presumption of innocence with the impossible standard of "believe all women."

Now Biden has tried to set aside debate over the allegations by telling voters who believe his accuser not to vote for him.

But he may want to reconsider that position as many Democrats may take him at his word. A recent poll found that 4 out of 10 young Democrats want Biden replaced with a new nominee after the Reade allegations. (Washington Times)

Top Democratic advisor lays out how Biden could lose to Trump in the 2020 election.

"A top adviser to Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) presidential campaign warned in a memo on Friday that former Vice President Joe Biden could lose the election in November because “a significant portion” of Sanders’s supporters are “currently unsupportive and unenthusiastic” about his candidacy." [Read the full story from The Hill.]

An experienced Democratic campaign strategist -- who was Bernie Sanders' 2016 campaign manager and 2020 advisor -- has warned his party that Joe Biden could lose in 2020.

According to recent polls, 20% of Sanders supporters won't vote for Biden and 47% think policy disagreements "will keep the party from uniting" heading into the November election. (The Hill)

That's a big problem in battleground states, where President Trump already has a 7-point lead on Biden. (CNN)

And to add to Democrats' challenges: the Biden campaign is "far behind" on digital organizing, while the Trump campaign continues to lead -- and succeed -- online. (The Hill)

As one journalist put it: "President Trump, his campaign is absolutely demolishing [Biden] online, digital campaign. It is not even close." (Grabien)
