Upcoming Catalyst Community Webinar
Implementing sustainable purchasing policies can help local governments prioritize the procurement of safer, more sustainable products, as well as consider the environmental and social equity impacts of purchasing decisions. This webinar will explore the benefits of sustainable purchasing and highlight some of the resources and tools available for developing a sustainable purchasing policy for your community. Examples from Michigan and other communities will be shared.
Upcoming Green Communities Partner Session
Through the Inflation Reduction Act, local governments are able to take advantage of federal clean energy tax incentives via direct pay. If your community is looking to save money paying for renewable energy projects, installing electric vehicle chargers, or purchasing clean vehicles for your fleet, direct pay from the federal government could cover 30% to 70% of the cost for these investments through 2032!
Join Michigan Green Communities for this webinar to:
- Get a Direct Pay 101 lesson.
- Hear presentations by Michigan experts and a local direct pay user.
- Learn about the specific steps, resources available, and considerations before filing for your check.
