How to Volunteer with

Dear John, Are you an attorney, or a person who speaks multiple languages? We need you in the Immigration Justice Campaign. Join us on Tuesday, November 12, for a webinar to learn more. The Immigration Justice Campaign provides free legal services for asylum seekers, people in ICE detention, and other immigrants who would otherwise go unrepresented. We're scaling up our programs, and we're going to need more volunteers. Right now, we're looking for attorneys and people who can provide interpretation and/or translation services. Attorneys do not need experience in immigration law, and interpreters do not need specialized knowledge of legal terminology. If either of those categories applies to you, please join us on to learn more about our work and how you can get involved. You'll hear from IJC director Bekah Wolf, senior mentoring attorney Sasha Bershad, and longtime volunteer Juliana Madaki.
Space is limited, so register today. We hope you join us for this important discussion. Sincerely, |
