ADL In Concert Against Hate began in 1995 as a special event to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Holocaust. That first year, the Concert honored the memory of four individuals who were recognized as “Righteous Among the Nations” — non-Jews who rescued Jews from the Nazis during the Holocaust. Now, 30 years later, ADL In Concert Against Hate continues this tradition, honoring heroes and celebrating their extraordinary acts of courage and compassion when confronted by hatred and bigotry.
