According to The Hill <[link removed]> , the President's approval rating from registered voters increased from two weeks ago. It was hard to miss the announcement on Twitter from President Trump <[link removed]> : a large graphic and "THANK YOU, WORKING HARD!" as the caption.

This good news comes as Republicans won the two special Congressional elections in Wisconsin and California yesterday.

[The investigation into "Obamagate" is just beginning. New report expected this summer.]

"Instead of grappling with the implications of newly released details about what Obama officials were doing to undermine the incoming Trump administration during the transition, the mainstream media have fixated on Trump’s use of the term “Obamagate,” dismissing it as a conspiracy theory." The mainstream media is eager to dismiss the updates to the General Flynn case as a conspiracy theory, but one outlet has already dubbed the events "the biggest political scandal of our time." (The Federalist <[link removed]> )

There will be more news to come: a report from a federal prosecutor on the investigations is expected this summer. Sen. Grassley, who we mentioned yesterday, said there are "more shoes to drop." That could be troubling news for the Biden campaign since Joe Biden attended a key White House meeting. (Daily Signal <[link removed]> )

Remember: Biden initially said he knew "nothing" about the Flynn investigation. But he had to backtrack in a TV interview when the January 5, 2017 meeting was referenced ... because Biden had been in the room. (National Review <[link removed]> )

Allegations about Russia have persisted since the 2016 election and were likely to become part of Democrats' attacks on President Trump in 2020.

But these surprise updates in key elements of those claims could undercut attacks against President Trump -- and may open new lines of attack against Biden.

The votes aren't all counted yet, but Republican Mike Garcia's lead is large enough that he's already calling himself Congressman-elect in public statements <[link removed]> .

President Trump and other Republicans had warned of concerns of voter fraud. Voting was switched to vote by mail due to COVID-19, though one physical polling location was opened in a Democratic area of the district.

But the Republican candidate prevailed -- winning a Democratic-held congressional seat in California for the first time in 20 years -- and that's a good sign for the Trump campaign and Republicans ahead of this fall.

The latest high-profile endorsement comes from Stacey Abrams, who lost the Georgia governor race in 2018 but has become a national party figure. She's also been floated as a potential Vice President pick.
