Team,

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, 87 MILLION Americans were uninsured or underinsured. Now, nearly 35 million Americans newly out of work are about to lose health coverage or already have.

It was unacceptable then, and it’s infuriating now. A global pandemic or not, no person in this country should be without healthcare. We need Medicare for All.

Will you join me in supporting Medicare for All and demand that Congress finally affirms that healthcare is a human right in this country? >> [link removed]

The consequences of a broken, unequal healthcare system are felt by Texans every single day.

Because Texas did not expand Medicaid, we have the highest population of uninsured people in the country. To make matters worse, Texas also leads the nation in hospital closures — almost double any other state — and they have all been rural.

Even now, one of the tired complaints we often hear from politicians like our Congressman Roger Williams who oppose universal healthcare is: "You, the taxpayer, shouldn’t have to pay for someone else's healthcare."

As an expert in how healthcare finance works, to that, I say: "You already pay for everyone’s healthcare. You just do it in the most expensive, inefficient, and wasteful way, with the worst outcomes."

If there was ever a time to respond boldly and improve healthcare outcomes in this country, this is it. Passing Medicare for All won't be easy, but transformative change never is. I'm ready to fight for it if elected to Congress — will you join me?

Sign your name in support of Medicare for All, and let's ensure that no American has to worry about the cost of life-saving care — now, or ever: [link removed]

Thank you for joining me in this fight,

Julie
