Hi
John:

National Nurses Week ends today, but there is still much more we need to do as a country to honor and protect these frontline heroes.

On top of equipment shortages and the constant worry of contracting coronavirus, nurses and other frontline workers shouldn't have to worry about not having paid sick leave to stay home if they feel ill or need to isolate after exposure.

That's why we need your help.

Up to 106 million workers (or 83 percent of working people) have been cut out of critical paid leave protections in emergency response legislation - including frontline workers like health care workers, grocery workers, and emergency personnel.

Click here to send an email to your members of Congress telling them to expand paid sick days and paid leave for nurses and all frontline workers in the emergency response to coronavirus!

Thank you!
