There’s so much at stake in this election — you don’t need us to tell you that. But with 5 days left, we want to share how Ground Game’s ballot measure campaign in Dallas is driving turnout among voters 35 and younger.

This demographic is essential for Democrats across Texas. And voting data shows that our Dallas campaign is making a big difference:

• We gathered nearly 50,000 petition signatures for our marijuana reform ballot measure, and Dallas petition signers are voting at a 24% higher rate than Dallas voters overall;

• Turnout among voters 35 and younger in Dallas is 21% higher than the statewide average so far.

These two data points are promising, especially because young voters tend to vote at the end of Early Vote and on Election Day. So we’ve got more work to do!
