John --

Spencer Dixon here, Phil’s campaign manager. In case you missed it, Phil filed his candidacy for WA-10 and will appear on the August ballot.

Election season is officially underway, so Phil wanted me to share a few key points of our campaign strategy with you. This is straight from our path to victory document -- it’s basically the guiding light of our campaign.

Before I go over the specifics, can you help us build on the momentum of Phil’s campaign becoming official by donating $3 today? >> [link removed]

Ok, here are some highlights from the path to victory:

1. Phil has a compelling personal narrative and a record of service. He stands out with deep roots in WA-10, and has a strong record of public service alongside Congressman Heck. That’s going to go a long way in a competitive primary like ours.

2. Phil’s youth is a strength. But his experience and understanding of federal issues is unmatched. He can unify all generations with his message of change -- especially in a district with a long history of electing young people to office.

3. Phil is the right fit for our district. Voters favor Democrats in the 10th Congressional District, but it still could be close. Any candidate who is out of sync with swing voters in crucial Pierce County, or who doesn’t have strong ties to the district, risks losing to a well-funded Republican next time around. Phil meets both of these requirements.

This Friday is the final day for other candidates to file in WA-10. Before then, we’re hoping to breakaway and show early momentum in this race by raising $10,000 before the end of the week.

John, I’m hoping to deliver some good news to Phil that we’re on pace to hit our goal but right now, we’re still $6,552 short.

Can you make a contribution of $3 today? We’ll be sure to let him know that it was you who came through when we need you most. >> [link removed]

We’ll share more about our goal as the week goes on.

Thanks in advance,

Spencer Dixon

Paid for by Phil Gardner for Congress

Phil Gardner served as the District Director for Congressman Rep. Denny Heck in Washington's 10th District. Now, he's running to replace Denny in order to continue fighting for the people of the South Sound and our shared progressive values. If elected, Phil would make history as Washington state’s first openly LGBT Member of Congress.

To support Phil's campaign, donate here. We'd hate to see you go, but if you can unsubscribe: [link removed] here.
