We shared with you that the first $25,000 donated to Playworks would be matched on Giving Tuesday Now thanks to a generous Playworks National Board Member. In total, we raised over $63,000, including the $25,000 match. Thank you for being a part of this momentous day. We've exceeded our goal.

If you haven't given yet, it is not too late to donate and be a part of the movement to help kids now and into the future.

Together, we are helping kids experience the childhood they deserve despite turbulent times. Thanks for being there when it is needed most.

Want to get involved in other ways? Here are some additional things you can do to help right now:


- Ask your employer to match your contribution.
- Become a monthly donor <[link removed]>. 
- Attend our upcoming virtual fundraising event on June 5, 2020. Learn more by following along on our social media channels.
- Create your own fundraiser online <[link removed]> and invite your community to give.
- Support Playworks with a grant recommendation from your donor-advised fund.
- Introduce us to a family foundation or other organizations who are distributing emergency funding.
- Support legislation for federal nonprofit emergency relief funding.

PS. Did you know that the CARES Act allows taxpayers to have a universal deduction of any donation of $300 or more of cash whether they itemize or not? And, if you do itemize your deductions, the new law allows for cash contributions to Playworks to be deducted up to 100% of your adjusted gross income for 2020.
