Dear Ward 8 Residents,

As I celebrate another year on this earth, I am grateful and humbled that God has continued to spare my life, unlike so many others from this community that have lost their lives prematurely.

Preparing ourselves to reopen our city can cause us to feel a heightened sense of anxiety. I want to thank residents who took advantage of providing their feedback in the recent ReOpen DC Survey. The survey will help guide the decision on what you believe to be the most pressing needs for our communities as we get on the other side of this pandemic.

To help ease the stress of the unknown, stay informed.I encourage residents to listen to the press conferences held by Mayor Muriel Bowser for the daily situational report. This report provides an overview of the movements our city will make towards reopening DC. We want our residents to be apart of the process. Stay safe and stay home.

Regards,

Trayon White, Sr.
Councilmember, Ward 8
