A home for Iman

Iman is a young, orphaned lioness who was confiscated in Eastern Somaliland earlier this year. It is believed she was taken from Ethiopia for a buyer in the Middle East.

She is now in good health, thanks to the expert emergency care from our friends at the Cheetah Conservation Fund at their temporary rescue site in Somaliland.

This week, we moved Iman to Born Free’s sanctuary Ensessa Kotteh in Ethiopia, where she will live in our care, free from harm, in a large, natural and spacious enclosure. But we need your help to fund her lifetime care at our haven for wild animals.

Her lifetime care will include food, veterinary care, environmental enrichment and enclosure upkeep, as well as our work protecting other animals in need at Ensessa Kotteh.

Will you please help give Iman a life worth living?
