Real talk: The email below is long. It is not a fundraising email
(seriously -- I’m not going to ask you for money). It is a very honest
look at a topic I know Indivisibles care a lot about (messaging!) and
gives you some real, concrete ways to take action in these last 26 days
before the election.
I know I don’t need to tell you this, but I’m going to anyway: The stakes
have never been higher.
Just this week, we saw the Georgia Supreme Court reinstate their
near-total ban on abortion -- an abortion ban that’s already cost lives
and will cost more. We saw SCOTUS allow Texas emergency rooms to continue
denying medically necessary abortions -- even when women’s lives are on
the line. Social media users dug up 2022 comments from Republican Senator
Mike Braun, who said that he’d be in favor of SCOTUS overturning the 1967
decision that legalized interracial marriage and returning the decision to
the states.
And those are just three examples.
Make no mistake. This is the world MAGA Republicans are hellbent on
creating: one where our freedoms -- our lives -- are thrown under the bus
to fuel their power grabs. But here’s the thing -- they’re not
unstoppable.
Right now, I know that Indivisibles are doing the real work to win --

difference between whether we wake up on January 20 ready to swear in
Kamala Harris as our next president or whether we’re preparing for a
second Donald Trump presidency.

Amplify to Win
We’ve teamed up with Anat Shenker-Osorio from ASO Communications and
partner organizations to craft a tested, winning narrative that exposes
the MAGA Republican agenda for what it is -- an all-out attack on our
freedoms -- and gives you the tools to spread the message far and wide.

The Winning Narrative

it because we've been testing it for literal years) and leaves MAGA
Republicans absolutely shook.
1. Freedom: MAGA Republicans want to take away our freedom to make
decisions about our bodies, our families, and our futures. They’re
working overtime to strip away reproductive rights, gut healthcare,
and limit our ability to vote. We’ve seen it in Georgia’s near-total
abortion ban and in Texas, where pregnant people can’t get emergency
care even when their lives are on the line. But freedom is our core
value -- it’s what binds us together. And we’re not letting them take
that away.
2. Families: This fight is about more than policies -- it’s about people.
We need to make it clear that what MAGA Republicans are doing impacts
families every single day. Their agenda doesn’t just hurt “the
economy,” it hurts the ability of families to put food on the table,
access healthcare, and retire with dignity. They want to hand over
control of our lives to corporations that jack up prices, refuse to
pay fair wages, and bust unions. We’re fighting for a world where
every family has the freedom to live a better life.
3. Futures: MAGA’s vision for the future is one of control and
domination. They want to take us backward to a time when only a select
few had the right to decide how we live. Their endgame? A future where
freedom is only for the wealthy and the powerful. But we have a
different vision. We’re fighting for a future where everyone has a
say, where we work together to make sure no one is left behind, and
where we protect the rights of all -- no matter who they are, who they
love, or where they come from.
