As of today, there has NEVER been an openly transgender member of Congress. In less than 30 days, WE can change that, John.

But I'm not just running to be the first — I'm running to make a difference.

As a state senator here in the First State, I've proven small states can do big things. By bringing people together, I’ve fought and won bold policies like:

• Paid family and medical leave
• Providing mental health care to at-risk Delwareans
• The most significant gun safety package in our state's history

I’m ready to bring the same compassionate and collaborative spirit to Washington to make historic progress on the issues that matter and make sure MAGA Republicans don't undermine our freedoms — whether it's stopping them from enacting a national abortion ban or waging culture wars on the most vulnerable among us.
