We, the People are Responsible!

In 1877 President James Garfield, wrote these words<[link removed]>:
“Now more than ever before the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption. If it be intelligent, brave, and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature. . . . if the next centennial does not find us a great nation . . . it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces.”
President Garfield believed that this was of utmost importance in his day and age. It was true then and it is still true today. It is time for Christians to stand up and take the lead in our nation. Will we determine to have an intelligent, brave and pure nation, or will we watch as it continues to fall into ignorance, recklessness and corruption? We, the people, are responsible to vote for God fearing, God honoring leaders for our nation. If you are already registered to vote, that is great! Remember, make sure you are registered to vote<[link removed]>.
