Hi
John:
As you know, one of the most basic steps to protect public health as an infectious disease spreads is for people who are sick or have been exposed to the virus to isolate themselves.
But that's not possible for many frontline workers, especially nurses.
That's because Congress carved out huge holes in its emergency response legislation that cuts out up to 106 million workers (or 83 percent of working people) - including frontline workers like health care workers, grocery workers, and emergency personnel.
For National Nurses Day today, help us fight for the paid leave and paid sick days nurses and all frontline workers need right now.
Click here to send an email to your members of Congress telling them to expand paid sick days and paid leave in the emergency response to coronavirus!
