Hello John,

Play can help kids build resilience while having fun.

Kids need to be increasingly resilient as the world around them remains so uncertain for the weeks and months ahead. They are still getting used to learning and playing at home, and will eventually need to adapt and transition back into a school environment, which will feel and function differently due to COVID-19.

Playworks is supporting kids virtually during this turbulent time, and helping them become more resilient by practicing their social and emotional skills, even while they are physically distanced from their school and classmates.

Donate now to support Playworks in helping kids build resilience <[link removed]>.

We need your support to ensure Playworks will be there for children when they return to school.
Anita has found herself learning and connecting with others differently than before her school building closed. Playworks has been helping kids like Anita practice active listening and communication via fun, interactive instruction through Play at Home during this tough time. And when she goes back to school, Playworks wants to be there for her with trauma-informed activities ready to help make her new normal feel safe and inclusive.
All of these changes can be scary for young kids. Together, we can help kids like Anita be ready to learn and play again. Help us be there for kids like Anita now and when they return to school by donating today.
The first $25,000 donated to Playworks will be matched one-to-one thanks to a generous Playworks National Board Member. You can double the impact of your gift by donating now <[link removed]>.
Play on,
