During a crisis, you often can see the rise of policies that restrict civil liberties or overlook human rights. When we are distracted, afraid, and uncertain, our rights are most at risk. At times like these, we must be vigilant. We must guard against actions that limit civil liberties or sacrifice vulnerable communities due to short-sightedness or a desire for quick response.
As we work together during this time for our collective safety and well-being, it is a priority to protect the most vulnerable in our communities. Please make a gift today and protect the legal rights of Native American communities in need during this crisis.
And for #GivingTuesdayNow* (May 5) you can double your impact. Today, AMERIND Risk will match every dollar donated up to $20,000. Your $100 donation, delivers $200 of impact for tribal communities in need right now.
Since the onset of COVID-19 , we have been busy serving Native communities affected by the pandemic. Protecting voting rights for people who live on reservations and can’t vote by mail, safeguarding emergency funding intended for federally recognized tribes, advocating for Native communities who stand no chance of being counted without US Census outreach, and fighting tooth and nail to keep unnecessary construction and “man camps,” (with their crowded conditions and transient populations) away from vulnerable rural Native communities.
You can help. Give a gift today and help tribes fighting to keep their lands and people protected. Together we can stand strong against the unique challenges that we face in the pandemic age.

*May 5, 2020, is #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of giving and unity that is an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
As the only 100% tribally owned insurance company serving Indian Country, AMERIND Risk knows how important it is to be there for others during challenging times. Because they understand the importance of standing strong during crisis, they are making it a priority to get Indian Country needed legal services right now.
