Each month we hold Planning Commission meetings and present to the Board of Island County Commissioners on topics relevant to Island County’s 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update [ [link removed] ]. Below are our upcoming meetings and engagement opportunities.  

*Planning Commission*

The Planning Commission meets _tonight_ Wednesday, September 18th at 6 PM. The meeting agenda includes:


* Workshop: George Hernandez, Island County Human Services, will provide a presentation on affordable housing development.
* Public Hearing: The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the Keystone Farm and Forest Preserve Comprehensive Plan Amendment to create a Special Review District.
